Quinn Harguth Chicago, IL, Obituary, Death: Quinn Danielle Harguth, age 28, of Chicago, Illinois—formerly of Waseca, Minnesota—departed this life on April 24, 2025, to be with our Heavenly Father. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, as they mourn the loss of a brilliant, vibrant, and loving young woman.
Born on May 11, 1996, in Owatonna, Minnesota, Quinn was the beloved daughter of Brian and Holly (Herrick) Harguth. Raised on a family farm in rural Waseca, Quinn grew up surrounded by love, strong values, and a deep connection to faith. She was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waseca, where her faith was first rooted and remained an important part of her life.
Quinn began her education at Sacred Heart Catholic School and later graduated with the Waseca High School Class of 2014. A gifted student, Quinn went on to study at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where she excelled academically, earning a double major in finance and accounting. Her intelligence, determination, and work ethic led her to secure her first position with one of the prestigious Big Four accounting firms—a milestone that marked the beginning of a promising career.
Quinn’s professional journey took her from Minneapolis to Chicago, cities she embraced with open arms. A proud member of both the Minnesota and Illinois CPA organizations, she was not only successful in her field but respected by her peers for her drive, integrity, and excellence.
Quinn was a woman of many talents and interests. She was both a skilled athlete and a gifted singer. With her eclectic tastes and curious mind, she brought color and life to every room she entered. Her sense of independence and adventurous spirit led her to explore the world through travel—one of her greatest passions. Whether strolling the vibrant streets of Chicago, dining at new restaurants, or indulging in her favorite hobby—shopping—Quinn loved immersing herself in the experiences of the big city. Still, despite the distance from home, family remained central to her life.
She is survived by her loving parents, Brian and Holly Harguth of Waseca; her five sisters: Heather (Jake) Droessler of New Brighton, Serena (Quentin Tradup) of Rochester, Raquel (Matt Hovey) of Winona, Peyton (Carson Slattery) of Waseca, and Eliza (Brandon Dahnert) of Waseca; her adored nieces, Adeline and Elsie Droessler, and Jacqueline Hovey; and a nephew on the way, baby boy Tradup. She is also survived by her grandparents, Bill and Eileen Harguth of Waseca, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
